BLOG: Thorium Energy, Inc. Has Become US Rare Earths, Inc.

I noticed earlier today that Thorium Energy, Inc., owner of thorium and rare earth deposits in the Lemhi Pass of Idaho and Montana, changed names to US Rare Earths, Inc. at some point in the last month, and has a new Web site at www.usrareearths.com.

The name change is probably a reflection of the recent heightened interest in rare earths, particular with regard to rare earth deposits in the US, in addition to the negative press that thorium sometimes receives (rightly or wrongly), during discussions on rare earths.
